Q: How do I pay?
A: Vacation Palm Springs welcomes major credit cards as well as cashier's checks or money orders. Payment in full is required 30 days prior to your arrival. To reserve a home, a deposit of 50% of the amount is required if the reservation is made more than 30 days in advance. Upon request, plans in equal thirds are available for reservations that are made more than 6 months in advance.
Q: What are the fees associated with Vacation Palm Springs rentals?
A: Each Palm Springs home for vacation rental offers weekly, nightly or monthly rental rates posted on the individual web page for each house. In addition to rent for the time period, charges include: a one-time departure cleaning fee, pool heating if you select that option, and Palm Springs City Tax of 11.5% is required on all vacation rentals for less than a month. The lodging tax is identical to the tax that of Palm Springs hotels.
Q: What is the minimum rental time period?
A: A two night rental is required. Some Luxury estates require a 1 week minimum. Certain holidays and special events have minimum reservation periods ranging from 3 days to 1 week. A refundable security deposit ranging from $600-$1500 is required for each rental depending on the home and the length of the visit.
Q: Are your Palm Springs rentals pet friendly?
A: Several of our homes welcome small, well-trained and well-behaved dogs and some welcome both dogs and cats. Please inquire for more information.

A: Each home is completely supplied with linens, towels and cooking ware.

Palm Springs is a village of 44,000 and the geographic area covered by Palm Springs makes travel from end-to-end about 15 minutes total. So all of the attractions, dining and shopping are within 5-10 minutes from our Palm Springs California private vacation homes.
Q: Do all homes have private pools?
A: More than 90% of our Palm Springs homes have private pools and spas. Condos and townhouses have shared pools and spas and indicate this in the description of the home. A few of our private homes have pools, without a whirlpool spa. Each home's description provides the complete details.
Q: When is the security deposit returned?
A: Security deposit refunds are returned to you promptly by mail in the form of a bank check two weeks after your departure.
Q: Are the swimming pools and spas heated?
A: Yes, in fall & winter months you have the option to purchase pool heating for the homes. For the months of October through May, the pool heating option is recommended. All homes are equipped with pool heaters. The fee for pool heating is $39 per day, $195 per week or $475 per month. The pool heaters are powered by natural gas which are extremely costly to operate.
